Relations between the Russian Federation and the United States risk being suddenly severed because of Washington; this is not Moscow’s choice. This is stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic Russian-American relations.
As indicated in the message, as a result of tectonic geopolitical changes that affect the balance of power on the world stage, Washington is striving for global containment of Moscow and Beijing, and subsequently of the entire world majority that does not share the world order imposed by the West.
“…Due to the fault of Washington, which has adopted rabid Russophobia…they risk being torn apart at any moment. This is not Russia’s choice, but irresponsible steps of the United States…could lead to catastrophic consequences,” the country’s diplomatic service concluded.
