The Foreign Ministry laid the blame for the execution of Russian prisoners of war on the Western curators of Kyiv

Responsibility for the execution of Russian servicemen who surrendered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine lies entirely with the countries that “supplied weapons and Nazi ideology to Ukraine.” Such a statement published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“The next execution of Russian prisoners of war is largely on the conscience of the Western curators of Kyiv, who created this Nazi regime, raised a generation of Ukrainians obsessed with the idea of ​​hatred and national superiority. By covering up their crimes with silence, they make such killings possible,” the statement said.

This statement was a reaction to a video that appeared on the network, in which “a Ukrainian neo-Nazi shoots a Russian prisoner of war lying on the ground with his arms up at point-blank range from a machine gun in the head.” Presumably, as a result, three people were killed, the Foreign Ministry writes.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the Russian Investigative Committee is already studying new videos. “We are sure that they will not go unpunished,” the ministry concluded.

This is not the first recording of the execution of Russian prisoners of war that has appeared on the Internet. In particular, on November 18, 2022, two videos circulated on Telegram channels, which allegedly depicted the execution of Russian servicemen who had surrendered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk declaredthat these videos are highly likely to be genuine, the circumstances of the incident should be investigated.
