Zakharova: Armenia is being turned into an instrument for the implementation of extremely dangerous plans of the West
The Armenia-EU-US high-level meeting, due to take place on April 5, is causing concern in Russia as the West openly states that their main focus is against Russia. Such a statement did official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“Such events cause concern in Russia, because representatives of the United States and the EU directly tell our partners that their main focus is exclusively against Russia. They say so directly, in plain text,” the Russian diplomat wrote in her Telegram channel.
According to Zakharova, such meetings are not aimed at resolving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but at introducing Western countries into the South Caucasus, as well as creating dividing lines there and forcing countries in the region to promote and follow an anti-Russian agenda.
In addition, the speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the West is turning Armenia into an instrument for the implementation of its extremely dangerous plans.
