Zakharova called the drone strike on a military unit in Transnistria “another provocation”
Russia views a kamikaze drone strike on a military unit in Transnistria as another provocation aimed at escalating the situation around the republic. The corresponding commentary from the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova was posted on website foreign policy department.
“We consider this incident as another provocation aimed at aggravating the already tense situation around Transnistria,” the message says.
The text also states that Moscow is waiting for a thorough investigation into all the circumstances of the incident. Zakharova added that she hopes that those involved in the attack on the military unit in Transnistria will be able to realize the dangerous consequences.
An unknown kamikaze drone struck a Transnistrian military unit on April 5. As a result, the radar station was damaged.
