On the morning of July 24 in Moscow were fixed drone strikes on two non-residential buildings. The Moscow Department of Transport announced the blocking of traffic along Komsomolsky Prospekt from 18 towards the Moscow Region, and traffic was also blocked on Likhachev Avenue. Both avenues are located in the south of the capital. According to the emergency services of TASS, the building at Komsomolsky Prospekt, 17, as well as the business center on Likhachev Prospekt, whose windows were broken on the last 17th and 18th floors, were damaged by the fall of the drones.
Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack of two UAVs, they were suppressed by means of electronic warfare (EW) and as a result “crashed.” As a result, no one was hurt.
This is not the first drone attack on the capital. On July 4, the fall of the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were fixed in New Moscow and the Moscow region. Sobyanin reported that there were no victims or casualties as a result of the UAV raid. The Ministry of Defense then clarified that the attack attempt was made by five drones, four of which were in the area of New Moscow, one in the territory of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region.
