About half of the territory of this adjacent district is occupied by the Izmailovsky and Terletsky forest parks with rivers, Lebedyansky and Kharigozinsky ponds, as well as the Ivanovo forest park. There are no large industrial plants here. Disadvantages include noisy highways (MKAD and Entuziastov Highway) and poor transport accessibility. This problem is solved by a developed transport network: in Mitino there are three metro stations (Pyatnitskoye Shosse, Mitino and Volokolamskaya), and on the southern border of the district there are two railway stations in the Kursk direction (Penyagino and Volokolamskaya), which are part of the MCD- 2 “Nakhabino – Podolsk”. Another disadvantage of the area is the high density of buildings. The primary market of the district is represented by three new projects. The environment is also bad in the Altufevsky and Vostochnoye Degunino districts. Despite the fact that plants are depicted on the coats of arms of both neighboring territories, the green spaces there are significantly smaller in area than the industrial zones. Industrial enterprises spoil the environmental karma of the Danilovsky district, located near the center. The presence of CHPP-9 and the location’s auto-building past had an impact.
