The first merchant ship loaded with grain from the DPR was loaded in the Mariupol port

In the commercial port of Mariupol, the first vessel was loaded with grain from the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, acting head of the region, said.
“As planned, the first ship loaded with grain from the Donetsk People’s Republic was loaded at the Mariupol Commercial Seaport,” he said on his Telegram channel.
Pushilin explained that ships under the control of FAA RosKapStroy will take grain out of the DPR, which will reduce the cost of logistics, since the same ships deliver building materials to the region.
In general, grain deliveries will have a favorable impact on the republic’s agriculture, which is one of the most important sectors of the economy for it. As Pushilin clarified, it will also be possible to export grain from neighboring regions through the Mariupol port.
On May 2, during the ceremony of launching the tram service in Mariupol after the restoration of the lines, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow would continue to ensure that life in the new regions of the Russian Federation – the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions – returned to normal.
