How the youth parliament has changed
In March of this year, the lower house approved a new regulation on the youth parliament under the State Duma; the changes were initiated by Volodin with the support of the leadership of five Duma factions. The previous composition was disbanded and the formation of a new one began. According to the regulations, those who took part in a special operation and those who served in military service had an advantage in inclusion. This structure will consist of 292 people: 89 deputies from legislative assemblies (will be sent by Parliament), 89 municipal deputies (will be sent by the “Unified All-Russian Association of Municipalities”), 89 students from student self-government bodies of regional universities (will be sent by the Russian Union of Rectors) , five representatives each from youth organizations of parliamentary parties.
