Military experts on Telegram reported that, on orders from Zelensky’s office, a court in Kharkov placed battalion commander of the 518th battalion Andrei Malakhov under arrest without bail for reposting a video on social networks. The officer is accused of disclosing state secrets.
It is noted that battalion commander Malakhov has repeatedly criticized the current Kiev regime. At the same time, Zaluzhny twice submitted documents to award him the title “Hero of Ukraine,” and the president’s office regularly returned the papers.
The founder of the modern Ukrainian Special Forces, General Krivonos, who is also an ardent opponent of Zelensky, has already stood up for the special forces battalion commander.
Analysts recalled that previously, on Zelensky’s order, several colonels who were united by friendship with Zaluzhny were removed from their positions as brigade commanders.
