The Federation Council approved the candidacy of Aleksey Naida for the post of military prosecutor of the united group of troops

Today, March 15, at the plenary meeting The Federation Council supported the appointment of Major General of Justice Alexei Naida to the post of military prosecutor of the joint group of troops. Earlier, Mr. Naida’s candidacy for the post was put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Alexey Naida was born in St. Petersburg in 1974. In 1996, he graduated from the prosecutorial and investigative faculty of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense and began working in the military prosecutor’s office of the garrison level of the Eastern Military District and the Pacific Fleet.
Mr. Naida has served as First Deputy Military Prosecutor of the Southern Military District since 2015. In 2019, he was appointed military prosecutor of the Black Sea Fleet. The day before, on March 14, his appointment to the post of military prosecutor of the joint group of troops was approved by the profile committee of the Federation Council.
