The Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia will exceed the plan for transfers to the federal budget by the end of 2023. In addition to the agreed upon 6.464 trillion rubles. The budget will receive another 150-160 billion rubles, said the acting head of the department, Ruslan Davydov.

“Despite all the efforts of our opponents to destabilize Russia’s foreign trade, we confidently fulfilled and even exceeded the planned target for transferring payments to the federal budget, which amounted to 6 trillion 464 billion rubles. Overfulfillment at the end of the year will reach 150-160 billion rubles,” said Mr. Davydov in his New Year’s greetings published on YouTube-FTS channel.

Speaking about the results of the FCS activities in the past year, Ruslan Davydov noted that the volume of trade between Russia and China by the end of 2023 will amount to $220-225 billion. Thus, the task set by President Vladimir Putin to bring this figure to $200 billion will be exceeded. Total trade turnover in the Far East East, according to the acting head of the Federal Customs Service, increased by 11% over 12 months. In the North-South transport corridor, freight turnover increased by 21% compared to last year.

At the end of 2022, due to a drop in FCS imports reduced collections to the budget of almost 1 trillion rubles. relative to 2021. Federal budget revenues administered by the Federal Customs Service amounted to 6.2 trillion rubles last year, which is 15% (934 billion rubles) lower than the result of 2021 (7.16 trillion rubles).
