The expert told which Western companies may soon return to Russia

Their return is imminent
The American shoe manufacturer Crocs has recently resumed sales in Russia. Ilya Timoshin, chairman of the Moscow branch of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Russia, believes that the return of foreign brands that left the Russian Federation is an inevitable process, because the Russian market is a huge economic base for business.
In conversation with “Evening Moscow” Timoshin said that the companies that left the country are divided into three categories. The first, according to the expert, are those who leave the country forever, and the Russian authorities warn them that there will be no way back. As an example, the specialist cited the story of McDonald’s, which, even with a strong desire, will not be allowed to open restaurants in Russia under the same brand.
Timoshin called the second category companies that leave, but retain the hope that not forever, in particular those that have transferred business management to Russian colleagues. At the same time, as the expert noted, this process is carried out under the strict control of domestic competent authorities.
To the third category, the specialist referred the companies that left the country and will certainly return, namely the famous mass markets, fuel giants, as well as hardware and auto stores. According to Timoshin, these brands left Russia to show a political position to their own authorities, but they realize that they will definitely return, since the Russian market is a huge economic springboard for them.
The expert concluded that all brands that have left the Russian Federation will definitely resume their work in the country, using any available channels, since market capacity, not politics, plays a paramount role for them.
