“By changing the target coordinates, it is possible to take Ukrainian drones to a pre-designated place where they will crash or land,” said Denis Fedutinov.

According to the expert, the combination of air defense systems and electronic warfare helps Russian troops counter enemy unmanned aerial vehicles during the NMD.

Electronic warfare troops (EW) are capable of distorting or jamming the signals of satellites of global navigation systems in order to knock enemy drones off course. Thanks to the work of electronic warfare, most Ukrainian drones attacking Russian cities do not reach the target. So, recently three drones fell in the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region. Several times, EW troops successfully repelled drone strikes in Crimea.
