The exchange price of gasoline AI-95 has updated a record for the seventh day in a row

The wholesale price of AI-95 gasoline exceeded 74,000 rubles per ton, which became a new historical maximum, follows from the trading data on the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange (SPIMEX) on August 31.
The price of AI-95 gasoline rose by 0.82% to 74,304 rubles during the day. This is the seventh day in a row when AI-95 gasoline prices break records. In particular, on August 30, the cost of gasoline amounted to 73,697 rubles per ton.
At the same time, the cost of a tonne of AI-92 gasoline increased by 0.59% to 63,946 rubles per day, and summer diesel fuel decreased by 0.08% to 67,116 rubles.
Earlier on August 31, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the topic related to gasoline prices is constantly in the field of view of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This summer, wholesale prices for gasoline in Russia broke records several times. In particular, on June 22, the price of AI-92 gasoline on the stock exchange reached a historical maximum of 58,548 rubles per ton, on August 17 – at 62,832 rubles. The price of AI-95 renewed its maximum on June 15, having reached 67,385 rubles/t. On August 24, the price per ton of AI-95 exceeded 71,000 rubles per ton.
At the same time, retail fuel prices in Russia changed insignificantly. According to Rosstat, as of August 28, the average price for AI-92 gasoline was 50.42 rubles per liter, AI-95 – 55.07 rubles per liter, and the cost of diesel increased by 81 kopecks over the week, to 60.84 rub./l
