The ex-speaker of the Rada urged to steal transit gas and sell it to the European Union

In Ukraine, they proposed to confiscate Russian transit gas, and then independently sell it to Europe, informed ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and former head of the ruling Servant of the People party Dmitry Razumkov on his Facebook (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist).
Razumkov believes that Russian gas falls under the law on the confiscation of Russian assets until it crosses the border of the European Union. “The gas that is transported through the territory of Ukraine is Russian. To the border with Europe – this is Russian gas. And what are we doing legally? We can confiscate it,” Razumkov is convinced.
The ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada believes that Ukraine needs to start implementing the law on the confiscation of Russian property, extending it, including gas from the Russian Federation, because thanks to it, “Moscow finances its army.” “Let me remind you that the confiscation of Russian property is our legal duty,” Razumkov added.
Regarding the contracts concluded by Europe with Russia, Razumkov suggests not paying attention to them. The politician believes that it would be right to confiscate Russian gas, and then sell it to the same buyers in Europe, and send the proceeds to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Dmitry Razumkov expressed similar idea back in July. He said that Ukraine should confiscate the “remainder” of Russian gas from transit pipelines. According to him, a “paradoxical situation” has developed in Ukraine, when millions of cubic meters of gas pass through the country every day, but their own storage facilities are not provided with the necessary reserves.
