The European Union is trying to agree on the withdrawal of profits from Russian assets

Greece’s Special Envoy for Ukraine Spyros Lampridis, in a conversation with journalists, admitted that in the coming months the countries of the European Union may agree to confiscate profits from frozen assets of the Russian Federation, which will be used to create a fund for Ukraine.

Speaking about the possible amounts of “profit” that the EU expects to confiscate, he admitted that it could be between 50 and 60 billion euros.

“It’s a matter of a few months,” Lampridis said.
