The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Peter Stano, said that Moldova and Georgia could be admitted to the EU in parts.
“It is possible that these countries could be included in the EU without Transnistria, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, whose sovereignty Brussels does not recognize,” said the European diplomat.
According to Stano, the future of Georgia and Moldova within Europe should not depend on conflicts.
“We continue to firmly support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and Moldova,” he added.
