Representative of Germany, the member of the European Parliament Gunnar Beck, in an interview with journalists, outlined the date for the possible adoption of the 11th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
According to him, this could happen as early as the end of June. The next restrictions against Russia may be timed to coincide with the EU summit, which will be held from 29 to 30 June. However, Beck was skeptical about the possibility of real pressure on Russia in this way.
“Despite the unprecedented scope of the sanctions, the Russian authorities turned out to be very well prepared …. None of the sanctions packages had a decisive impact. The same will happen with the 11th one,” the MEP stressed.
