A member of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Russia, MEP from Croatia Ivan Vilibor Sincic, in an interview with Russian journalists, admitted that a new package of anti-Russian sanctions could be agreed upon and adopted by the European Union in April.
According to him, the focus will be on mechanisms to prevent circumvention of previously introduced restrictions, including at the expense of third countries.
Accordingly, countries such as Turkey, Kazakhstan, and the Arab states may fall under attack.
“If we take into account the past dynamics, then the 11th EU sanctions package could be adopted by the end of April,” Sincic said.
