The European Commission assessed Ukraine’s reform plan to receive 50 billion euros

The European Commission positively assessed the reform plan in Ukraine, the phased implementation of which will become a condition for the payment of tranches under the budget assistance program in the amount of 50 billion euros until 2027. This was announced on Monday, April 15, by the press service of the European Commission.
Full approval of this plan by the EU Council will allow Brussels to transfer the first tranche to Kyiv – 1.89 billion euros. Further payments will be made as Ukraine implements agreed reforms and investment steps.
As Brussels emphasizes, “this important step opens the way for regular and predictable support for Ukraine.”
Earlier, Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis stated that the institutions of the European Union and members of the integration association have provided Ukraine with assistance since February 2022, when Russia launched a special military operation more than 88 billion.
At the same time, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that Ukraine is paying for European military assistance with its children. As the official stated, European social services “literally steal Ukrainian children under various pretexts, forcibly taking them away from their living and healthy parents.” At the same time, the Kiev regime is silent so as not to lose a sponsor.
