How reports Press service of the European Commission, EC Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis announced the start of work on the next, 14th package of restrictive measures against Russia.

The EC Vice President emphasized that sanctions can only bring the effect that the West expects from them if they are implemented and enforced properly.

“They could work even more effectively… We have started preparing the 14th package of sanctions, which should be adopted in the spring. It will probably include an extensive list of restrictive measures with a strong anti-circumvention focus,” Dombrovskis said.
