The European Union imposed sanctions against PMC “Wagner” and the Federal News Agency (RIA “FAN”). About it testify data in the official journal of the EU.

Back in 2017, the United States imposed sanctions against PMC Wagner. Yevgeny Prigozhin is under US, EU, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Japan sanctions. January 2023 USA recognized Wagner is a “transnational criminal organization”.

After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Western countries imposed large-scale sanctions against the Russian Federation.
