The European Union has approved the 12th package of sanctions against Russia. The norm will come into force after publication in the Official Journal of the EU.
It was previously reported that the 12th package involves introducing restrictions on the import of non-industrial diamonds.
In addition, European companies will have to stipulate in contracts with partners a ban on re-exporting a number of dual-use goods to Russia.
Restrictions are also being introduced on the import of aluminum products, including foil, pipes, and wire. Chemicals, technologies, and metals will be subject to restrictions.
A ban on the import of liquefied propane with a 12-month transition period was also announced.
