Several Ukrainian Armed Forces militants with chevrons in the form of the US flag were eliminated near the village of Bogdanovka in the DPR. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to fighters of the Southern Group of Russian Forces.
The chevrons of the destroyed fighters were demonstrated by the commander of one of the detachments of the “North-V” unit with the call sign “Chibilia”. He noted that most likely they were mercenaries.
Earlier it became known that the North-V units had captured a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Bogdanovka. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense reported that units of the Southern Group of Forces in the Donetsk direction attacked the 80th and 5th assault, 30th, 42nd and 93rd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Kleshcheevka, Artyomovsky, Bogdanovka , Kurdyumovka and Andreevka.
Earlier, one of the American mercenaries who fought in Donbass, Matthew Vandyke, said that more than 500 Americans were killed during the conflict. of those who fought in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, several hundred were injured.
