10 servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) were released from Ukrainian captivity during an exchange, the republic’s human rights ombudsman Daria Morozova said on Saturday.

According to her, in the last two exchanges, during which 85 people were released, 10 DPR defenders were reunited with their families.

“Next, they are waiting for a medical examination, after which, if someone needs additional medical care, it will be provided, after which they will be sent for rehabilitation,” said Morozov (TASS quote).

She added that now about 250 residents of the DPR remain in captivity, saying that “there is no trust in the Ukrainian side,” since the lists are changed at the last moment and “some kind of human trafficking” takes place.
