The FSB announced the arrest of the deputy head of the laboratory of the capital’s arms factory on charges of treason
FSB investigators charged Dmitry Kiche with treason in favor of foreign countries, TASS reports.
The man served as deputy head of the testing laboratory of the Moscow arms factory Promtekhnologiya. This company produces sporting and hunting rifles. According to TASS, the Moscow court approved the arrest. The accused was taken to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Treason” provides for a maximum punishment of up to 20 years in prison.
Earlier, the FSB reported on the detention of a resident of Petrozavodsk on the border with Kazakhstan. He tried to leave for the territory of Ukraine to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
