Deputy of the Kherson Duma Barbashov: foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not ready to confront Russia

Deputy of the Kherson Regional Duma Yuriy Barbashov said that at the moment the number of mercenaries from European countries in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun to decrease.

He clarified that the mercenaries were not ready for confrontation with Russia.

“The quantity and quality of mercenaries has changed. If earlier there were many Europeans, now there are much fewer of them. They turned out to be unprepared for confrontation with the Russian military,” Barbashov noted.

The deputy added that European mercenaries went to Ukraine, perceiving the fighting as a “hunt for Russians.” However, on the battlefield they were faced with a harsh reality and found themselves as cannon fodder.
