The death toll during the shelling of Vasilyevka in the Zaporozhye region increased to six

As a result of the shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) of Vasilievka, six people were killed, 37 were injured, Yevhen Balitsky, Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region, wrote on his Telegram channel.
“The number of people killed as a result of shelling of the city of Vasilyevka, Zaporizhia region, has increased to six people. Thirty-seven injured. Among them, a sixteen-year-old girl is in traumatology in a hospital, ” wrote is he.
According to Balitsky, one of the rescuers who pulled people out from under the rubble and was seriously injured is still in intensive care. All victims receive the necessary medical care.
The chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia”, Vladimir Rogov, in his Telegram channel, said that the military commandant’s office of Vasilyevka came under fire, where there was a queue of local residents to receive passes for cars to pass through checkpoints. Later, he clarified that the blow did not hit the commandant’s office building, but the neighboring high-rise building. Rogov also said that the shelling, according to preliminary data, was carried out from HIMARS.
The day before, five dead and 15 wounded were reported, including four employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
