The court fined Twitch 7 million rubles for not deleting information about the military operation

The judicial district of the justice of the peace in Moscow imposed two fines on the American service Twitch for not removing content prohibited in the Russian Federation. The first fine is in the amount of 4 million rubles, the second – in the amount of 3 million rubles.
“Recognize Twitch Interactive as guilty under Part 2 of Art. 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-deletion by the site owner of information or a web page if the obligation to delete such information is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation),” the judge announced the decision (quoted by TASS).
The first protocol was drawn up due to the refusal to remove three videos related to the military operation in Ukraine. The Federal Tax Service also revealed videos containing information about gambling and online casinos.
January Twitch fined for 4 million rubles. for broadcasting an interview with ex-adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich Mark Feygin (included in the Russian Federation in the register of foreign agents). In April, the service was appointed another penalty for not deleting information on four links related to the military operation in Ukraine.
