In a year and a half, the construction of a tourist complex with hotels, leisure and sports grounds will begin in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO), said TASS Governor of the region Dmitry Artyukhov on the sidelines of the industrial and energy forum TNF.

In December 2021, Gazprombank as part of a consortium filed to the government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for the right to conclude a concession agreement for the project of creating a tourist complex Rai-Iz in the Polar Urals near the village of Kharp. The complex will be located in the north of the Rai-Iz mountain range next to the Sob River.
At the end of August, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the development of tourism in Russia until 2035. The plan includes 65 measures to support the industry, including financing the development of tourism clusters in the regions, concessional lending for investment projects to create tourism infrastructure, grants to businesses for the construction and reconstruction of hotels, as well as support for the development of rural and ecological tourism.
