The American and European currencies are depreciating on the Moscow Exchange after rising the day before, September 21, on the day the partial mobilization was announced. By 12:44, the dollar fell by 77 kopecks, to 59.92 rubles, the euro – by 1.26 rubles, to 58.89 rubles.

The Moscow Exchange Index rose by more than 2% to 2174.64 points, the RTS – by 3.3% to 1143.35 points.

Against the backdrop of the announcement of partial mobilization on September 21, the dollar rose to 62.8 rubles, but trading closed at 60.7 rubles. The Moscow Exchange Index lost only 3.8%, although it initially fell by 10%. Experts believe that the market can be supported by massive dividend payments, primarily from Gazprom.
