The Communist Party of the Russian Federation will go with a team of candidates for government – ​​Kommersant

On December 23, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will hold a pre-election congress of the party, within the framework of which “a team of candidates for the government of national interests” will be nominated, said the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov. He did not specify whether Mr. Zyuganov himself would participate in the Russian presidential elections. According to the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the exact date of the presidential elections will be announced by the Federation Council at a meeting on December 13.

“When they say, ‘I’ll go and participate there,’ it’s not serious. Well, we will go with a team of candidates for the government of national interests, with a team of those who will form a scientific expert council, a council of wise men. With a team of managers of national enterprises who have had the best performance in recent years,” Gennady Zyuganov told reporters (quoted by TASS).

It is expected that Russian presidential elections will be scheduled for March 17, 2024. The exact date must be determined by the Federation Council 90–100 days before voting day. In 2023, this should happen from December 8 to 18.
