The commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced a complication in the Kupyansk direction

The commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, announced the complication of the situation in the Kupyansk direction, in connection with which he worked for two days in the units leading the defense on the outskirts of the city. About this he informed Telegram-channel Military Media Center, coordinated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Syrsky also added that the Russian military aims to block and subsequently capture Kupyansk.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in a daily report stated that the Russian military improved the situation in the Kupyansk direction during the offensive. Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation repelled nine attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction.

Ukrainian authorities announced about the evacuation in the Kyiv-controlled Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region. Vitaly Ganchev, head of the Russian-controlled military-civilian administration of the Kharkiv region informedthat the Russian military had to go “a few kilometers” to Kupyansk.
