Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, commander of the Akhmat special forces Apty Alaudinov, in a conversation with journalists, said that he does not consider captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers enemies.
Introducing three Ukrainian servicemen who surrendered to journalists, Alaudinov said that captured Ukrainians are not harmed in Russian units, so they should not be afraid and surrender calmly.
“People who are captured are not enemies for us… For all Ukrainian military personnel currently at the front, surrender is the second ticket to life,” the deputy commander said.
