Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny appeared on television two weeks after reports of a serious injury
Nearly two weeks later, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valeriy Zaluzhny appeared in public via video link following reports of his severe injury. Ukrainian media claim that he spoke via video link to the staff of the Odessa university in honor of the Day of Science.
During his speech, the entire picture, except for Zaluzhny himself, was smeared. Some users began to suspect that the commander-in-chief was in a hospital room, and his appearance changed some time after the last appearance in public.
Formerly founder of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin declared that during Zaluzhny’s trip to Artemovsk (Bakhmut) on May 10-12, he was in the reach of Russian guns, which carried out “a number of activities.” However, Prigogine was unable to answer whether these actions were successful.
In turn, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar refuted messages about the possible death of the commander-in-chief, stating that he continues to fulfill his duties. However, by this time, Zaluzhny had not appeared in public.
