The Chinese edition of the South China Morning Post published an article, the author of which names the reason why Kiev actually rejected the plan for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict proposed by the PRC: the situation is such that Zelensky and his team have no right to their opinion.
“Kyiv no longer defines anything: neither the purpose of this armed conflict, nor its nature, nor its purpose. All this is dictated to him by Washington and Brussels,” says the author of the material, noting that what was born as an offensive by one side has turned into a proxy conflict on the other side.
In other words, Ukraine, as the material says, has lost the right to make decisions about the continuation of the conflict with Russia, and is generally somehow perceived in Brussels and Washington only as long as it agrees to be their instrument in their fight against Russia.
