The CEC processed 100% of the protocols for the presidential elections. The current head of state, Vladimir Putin, received 87.28% of the votes.
Nikolai Kharitonov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, according to the final results, receives 4.31% of the votes, Vladislav Davankov from “New People” – 3.85%, Leonid Slutsky from the Liberal Democratic Party – 3.2%. The turnout in all regions was 74.22% (data as of 18:00 Moscow time), the turnout of voters registered in the DEG was 94%.
Head of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova spokethat a record number of citizens voted for Vladimir Putin in the last elections – 75.9 million. In the 2018 presidential elections, 56.4 million people voted for him.
Vladimir Putin will take office as president for the fifth time. The presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as the leaders of North Korea, Qatar and other states congratulated him on his victory.
