The Central Bank cancels concessions for SROs in the field of microfinance – Kommersant

The Central Bank is not going to extend the easing on the absence of measures for non-compliance with the requirements for verification of participants in self-regulatory organizations (SROs). It will cease to operate from tomorrow, June 2. This was reported press office Central Bank.

The relief was introduced in 2022 against the backdrop of an unstable economic situation. The Central Bank noted that during the period of this measure, SROs were able to adapt their control functions to the changed conditions in the economy.

SROs include microfinance organizations, credit consumer cooperatives and agricultural credit consumer cooperatives.
