The Bank of Russia announced that it has updated the set of materials that the regulator publishes after meetings on the key rate, and has begun issuing a summary of the discussions. As a result, the publication of monetary policy reports will cease.

“The updated set of materials will cover all substantive information previously contained in the Monetary Policy Report and will therefore cease publication,” it said. message on the website of the Central Bank.

A summary of the key rate discussion will be published on the sixth working day after each decision on it. It will reflect discussions of decisions during the “week of silence” and at the meeting of the board of directors, the opinions of participants on the situation in the economy and the rationale for the changes adopted.

Press releases on the key rate will become briefer, the Central Bank said in a statement. After the key meetings of the board of directors, the Bank of Russia will continue to publish the medium-term macroeconomic forecast. The format and time of the press conference of the Chairman of the Central Bank will also not change – 15:00 Moscow time after each meeting.
