The total cargo turnover of PJSC “Vladivostok Sea Commercial Port” (VMTP; part of the FESCO group) last year amounted to 13.4 million tons (an increase of 3.7% by 2021).

At the same time, VMTP handled 768,057 TEU (TEU is the equivalent of a 20-foot container), which is 1.4% more than in 2021.

According to the PJSC, the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port has become the leader among Russian stevedores in terms of container turnover for the third year in a row.

“In second place in the rating of Russian ports is Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company LLC with a score of 624,440 TEU. The top three is closed by NUTEP LLC (582,498 TEU),” the statement reads. message VMTP.

VMTP notes that in 2022 the global logistics market has changed, export and import flows have actively moved to the Far East.
