Operating expenses in December decreased by 12% yoy to RUB 80.6 billion. At the end of 2022, this indicator decreased by 5%, to 670.4 billion rubles.
In addition, Sberbank notes that in December the retail loan portfolio grew to 12 trillion rubles. (by 1.7%), and for 2022 – by 12.9%. In the last month of 2022, the bank provided loans to private clients for a total of RUB 625 billion. It is noted that the issuance of mortgage loans has become a record. They reached 382 billion rubles. At the end of 2022, the portfolio of housing loans amounted to 7.7 trillion rubles, having increased by more than 20% compared to 2021.
The volume of consumer loans since the beginning of the year also reached its maximum – 243 billion rubles. The corporate loan portfolio grew in 2022 by 12.4% year-on-year, amounting to RUB 18.8 trillion.
To date, the number of retail clients of the credit institution has reached 106.7 million people, and the number of legal entities has exceeded 3 million companies, Sberbank said.
