The Russian government will allocate 10 billion rubles. to support the construction of modular hotels and glampings in the regions. The funds will be distributed among 58 regions of the country, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“We continue to support investors who invest in the development of projects to create modular non-capital accommodation facilities – hotels and glampings. We will allocate 10 billion rubles for this, which will be received by 58 constituent entities. These funds will be used to create over 8,000 hotel rooms where Russians will be able to relax next year,” the prime minister said.
Formerly entrepreneur Arkady Rottenberg stated, which plans to invest more than 129 billion rubles in the development of Russian tourism infrastructure over the next five years. These funds will be used to build complex resort and recreational areas of a “new format” in the Southern and Siberian Federal Districts.
They will include hotels, apartments, water parks, entertainment and health facilities of all price segments, as well as beaches, eco-routes and public spaces. Some of the objects on the territory of the complexes will be made publicly accessible.
