The Government of the Russian Federation ordered to increase the authorized capital of Russian Railways (Russian Railways) by 10 billion rubles. The corresponding document was published on March 31 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

March 28 at the press service of Russian Railways reportedthat the Ministry of Transport has prepared a project to allocate 10 billion rubles to the company this year. from the National Welfare Fund (NWF). Referring to the draft government decree “On Amendments to the Charter of the Russian Railways Open Joint-Stock Company”, the ministry clarified that in 2023 it is planned to allocate 47.2 billion rubles from the NWF funds. for the development of the railway infrastructure of the Central transport hub.

“Currently, it is proposed to contribute 10 billion rubles from the National Welfare Fund to the authorized capital of Russian Railways for the implementation of the Central Transport Hub development project,” the explanatory note to the project says.

Annual dividends in 2022-2024 for one “pref” are determined in the project in the amount of 0.01% of the nominal value, from 2025. – 2.98%, added to Russian Railways.

In August 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers increased the authorized capital of Russian Railways by almost 22 billion rubles. The government also ordered the placement of 3.58 million additional ordinary shares in accordance with the federal law “On the federal budget for 2022 and for the planned period of 2023 and 2024.”
