As Bulgarian National Radio reports, the Bulgarian parliament voted against a bill that would ban Lukoil from refining Russian oil at the Lukoil Neftochim refinery in Burgas.
Consideration of this document took place within the framework of an extraordinary session of parliament convened by Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Denkov. It is specified that the discussions lasted three hours.
According to the head of government, the adoption of this bill would increase the risks of disruption to Lukoil’s operational activities and could lead to an increase in the market price of fuel.
