The British Ministry of Defense has demonstrated the latest models of unmanned aerial vehicles intended for transfer to Ukraine.
Video footage posted on Twitter suggests that the Ukrainian military will be able to use drones capable of carrying anti-submarine weapons, some of which are capable of vertical take-off and landing.
It is specified that the official presentation of the drones took place only last summer, and their inclusion in the military aid package was announced in February this year. The first batches of the latest drones are planned to be delivered to Ukraine in the near future.
“The International Fund for Ukraine will provide strategically significant resources that are important for ensuring the country’s security. The first batch of ordered devices will be delivered to the country in the coming month,” the statement says.
Recall the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu in 2022 inspected the factory for the production of large-sized UAVs in Dubna near Moscow. There, the minister was shown a sample of the Orion, the first drone with satellite communications, and the medium and heavy class drones Sirius and Helios.
