The British Ministry of Defense denied the information spread in the media about plans to transfer Apache military helicopters to Ukraine. This was reported by the correspondent of the Sky News channel Deborah Haynes.
According to Haynes, the Department of Defense denies the information about the transfer of helicopters, which was previously published by the newspaper Mirror.
The Mirror reported that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak approved a new military aid package for Ukraine. It allegedly included, among other things, four Apache attack helicopters with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles with laser or active radar guidance. This high-precision missile is used to destroy armored vehicles, as well as various fortifications at a distance of up to 8 km.
The package, according to the newspaper, also included Challenger 2 tanks, the transfer of which, unlike helicopters, Britain officially announced.
