The average pension in Russia next year will be slightly more than 23.2 thousand rubles. per month. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov. According to him, the cost of indexing pensions will amount to 600 billion rubles in 2024.
“Next year pensions will be indexed to the inflation rate predicted for the current year, which is 7.5%, and the average size of such a pension will be 23 thousand 244 rubles,” said Mr. Siluanov, speaking at the Federation Council.
According to the government draft budget Social Insurance Fund, the average insurance pension of non-working pensioners in 2024 was supposed to increase by 1,628 rubles. — up to 23,405 rub.
According to the draft budget for three years, in 2024 pensions for non-working pensioners will be indexed by 7.5%, in 2025 – by 9.5% and in 2026 – by 10.3%. For 2023, the amount of such a pension is 12 thousand 363 rubles.
