The authorities will return to the discussion of the bill on blocking business property during inspections in autumn

The government’s plans to give tax authorities the right to quickly block debtors’ property when signs of evasion from mandatory payments are found remain in force, two sources close to the government told Vedomosti and confirmed by a federal official. According to the interlocutors, the Cabinet of Ministers hopes that the bill submitted to the State Duma at the end of last year will be considered during the autumn session. In the spring session, the deputies did not consider the document, since the priority was the adoption of anti-crisis measures, the source of Vedomosti explained.

The profile committee of the State Duma on the budget and taxes has not yet issued its opinion on the document.
