Kyiv made an attempt to introduce spies under the guise of journalists into the IAEA delegation that arrived at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. About this agency “RIA Novosti” told Vladimir Rogov, head of the military-civilian administration (MAC) of the Zaporozhye region.
“Ukrainian special services, on the orders of Zelensky, tried to introduce their spies and saboteurs working under journalistic cover into the IAEA delegation to the Zaporozhye NPP,” Rogov said.
He clarified that the plan of the Ukrainian authorities was uncovered in time and the saboteurs did not enter the ZNPP territory.
On September 1, the IAEA mission headed by the director of the agency Rafael Grossi arrived at ZNPP. The experts inspected the territory of the station, accompanied by representatives of the Russian “Rosatom” and employees of the station. The specialists were also shown parts of the facility that had suffered from shelling by the Ukrainian military.
On the same day, Grossi left the station, leaving 8 members of the IAEA mission and four escorts at the nuclear power plant. This was announced by the head of the CAA Energodar Alexander Volga.
Based on the results of the trip, the IAEA delegation must assess the damage caused to the station, and also take measures to ensure the nuclear safety of the nuclear power plant. Horns declared TASS, which expects from experts an objective report on the situation at the station.
