The authorities of Sevastopol explained the loud noises in the city

The situation in Sevastopol remains calm, and loud noises in the city are associated with the exercises of the Russian military. On Monday, May 22, said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
As the politician wrote in his Telegram channel, the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy conducted training of anti-submarine and sabotage support crews on the Northern Pier. These trainings were held with firing, the sounds of which were heard by the townspeople.
Earlier, the US authorities, commenting on the decision to provide Ukraine with fighter jets, said they did not encourage strikes on Russian territory. However, the United States does not recognize the legitimacy of the referendums, as a result of which Crimea and Sevastopol became part of the Russian Federation – accordingly, they do not consider these territories to be Russian.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov responded by accusing Washington of irresponsibility and escalation, and warned that Russia would find a way prevent such attacks.
